Juniper is all about subtle moods. The yarn has soft violet undertones that show through its overall dark brown hue. The resulting color is akin to the subtle shades in juniper berries. The yarn’s distinctive color comes from blending grayish brown wool from Romney sheep with carbonized bamboo, a specially processed bamboo fiber with a natural gun metal gray hue. Both bamboo and Romney wool are strong, long stapled fibers with hardly any crimp. The result is a light-bodied yarn with great drape. The yarn is suitable for an array of projects but will really shine through in lacework and drapey projects.
Medium soft. Suitable for next-to-skin wear.
