FOR AGES 14 and UP
Ready to level up from single crochet? Join Aimée to continue your crochet journey. You'll learn the double crochet stitch, fine tune your tensioning style, and the basics of finding and reading patterns. PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A LEARN TO CROCHET CLASS. STUDENTS MUST HAVE SOME EXPERIENCE WORKING THE CHAIN AND SINGLE CROCHET.
Prerequisite Skills: Students should already be proficient in these skills without assistance. Please contact the shop with any questions.
- Holding yarn while crocheting (tensioning)
- Chain stitch
- Single Crochet
Supply List:
- Worsted weight yarn in a mid-tone color; please avoid white, black, and anything fuzzy or novelty.
- US G or H hook, or your entire crochet hook kit.
- Pen or pencil for taking notes
- Reading glasses if necessary
- Optional: Specific and relevant patterns/projects that are relevant to the topic of the class.
- Optional: Drink with a secure lid. (No food, please)
Gauge Cancellation Policy
Students will receive a full refund or credit if cancelling a registration at least three days before the first class meeting. Cancellations may be emailed to info@gaugeyarn.com or you can call 512-371-9300. If a student cancels less than three days before the first class meeting, or drops out of a class in progress, full tuition and fees are forfeited. We will make exceptions for illness as we do not want sick people attending class. Please contact us.
We reserve the right to cancel a class due to under-enrollment. Registered students will be notified by phone and email 48 hours in advance if a cancellation due to under-enrollment should occur.
