Mosaic Crochet is the perfect technique to create modern accessories. You’ll learn unique stitches, working with two colors, and how to confidently read a mosaic crochet chart. Guided by instructor Aimée, you’ll crochet a butterfly that can be used as a coaster or gauge swatch for a larger project. Fun and satisfying, once you gain confidence with this exciting technique, you won't want to stop!

Skill level: Confident Beginner, aged 12 and up. Must be proficient with single and double crochet. 

Materials and Tools needed:  

• 2 contrasting colors yarn in DK weight (about 50 yards each) and E/3.5mm hook
• OR 2 contrasting colors yarn in worsted weight (about 50 yards) and G/4mm or H/5mm hook.

• Reading glasses if you use them.

Gauge Cancellation Policy

Students will receive a full refund or credit if cancelling a registration at least three days before the first class meeting. Cancellations may be emailed to info@gaugeyarn.com or you can call 512-371-9300. If a student cancels less than three days before the first class meeting, or drops out of a class in progress, full tuition and fees are forfeited. We will make exceptions for illness as we do not want sick people attending class. Please contact us.

We reserve the right to cancel a class due to under-enrollment. Registered students will be notified by phone and email 48 hours in advance if a cancellation due to under-enrollment should occur.
